As we linger in the liminal days before Spring, I've been feeling creativity stir within. I think it's the subtle signs that nature is at play, just noticing the daffodils, the tiny buds of blossom forming on the once bare trees, like little glimmers of hope that life is returning. Silly story, but last year my very old and inherited rose bushes were cut back quite hard, so much so, I worried they wouldn't survive, but I can see the shoots growing more and more each day and I think this year may be their best yet! 🌹
Spring's promise teaches us to trust the unseen, to connect with nature and feel at home in her rhythm. The long winter months are coming to a close, and in that darker time you may have noticed patterns that don't serve you well, people that drain you, places that no longer feel comforting. Now is the time to make small changes to create space for the Spring, for the arrival of something new, something currently unseen. Maybe you have been quietly building and creating something, waiting to see it come to fruition, all the while trusting that it is meant to be? Maybe you are longing for change but feel unsure on what that means or how you achieve it?
If you can look to nature to guide you, notice the shoots of hope growing on the rose bushes, the promise of beauty unravelling petal by petal. The delicate birdsong calling in Spring in a language unknown, the red robin who always appears when you are still. If you can notice the signs, you'll realise how abundant you truly are, and with this boost of positive energy, good things will inevitably follow.
